Lady Bulldogs split

The ZHS Girls’ Soccer team split a pair of games this week getting a win over Brooksville Central Monday and falling to Wesley Chapel Tuesday night

.It was feast or famine with the Bulldogs as the crushed Central 8-0 and then lost to the Wildcats by the same score.

In Monday’s win, senior captain Madison Poe had a big night with four goals and sophomore Chloe Price added a hat trick. Senior Taryn Henry hit the back of the net for her first career goal.

The Lady Bulldogs are 3-11-1 on the season with eight games remaining.

“Last night against Central was an amazing game. Not just the score, but we played really well,” said coach Katie Jeffcott. “The better part of our schedule is coming up, sop we may finish even, whish is something that hasn’t been done in over a decade.”
