A 25-year-old Zephyrhills woman was arrested Dec. 21 for domestic battery after allegedly punching her boyfriend in the face.

According to Zephyrhills Police, Cheyenne Pitcher of 5832 Excel St., struck her boyfriend causing swelling to his left eye socket. Pitcher told police she was defending herself after the victim allegedly grabbed her by the throat.

Pitcher was arrested and transported to the Pasco County Jail.


A 19-year-old Zephyrhills woman was arrested Dec. 26 for aggravated assault and domestic battery after grabbing one person by the neck and pointing a BB gun at another.

According to ZPD, Chassidy Hall of 6103 9th St. got into an argument and grabbed the first victim by the neck and hair. She then pointed a BB gun at the second victim.

Police said Hall admitted to battering the first victim and pointing the gun with intent to scare the second victim. She was transported to the Pasco County Jail.


A 26-year-old Land O’ Lakes man was arrested Christmas morning on multiple weapons charges, a drug charge and child neglect after police found three guns and assorted ammunition in his vehicle along with his newborn child in the backseat.

According to police, Alexander Curnutte of 26138 Corkwood Ct., was stopped by police where they found three pistols and magazines of ammunition and THC wax. The child was released to Curnutte’s aunt.

Curnutte was charged with three counts of felony possession of a firearm, three counts of felony possession of ammunition, one count of child neglect, improper exhibition of a firearm and one count of possession of THC wax. He was transported to the Pasco County Jail.


A 39-year-old Dade City woman was arrested Christmas Eve for driving under the influence in the drive thru line of Popeyes Chicken on Gall Blvd.

According to ZPD, Marie Serrano Gomez of 14662 Douglas Dr., was in the drive thru line at Popeyes when police made contact with her. Police say she had bloodshot eyes, and the smell of alcohol coming from her. The report states Gomez exited the driver’s side and used the vehicle for support and nearly fell as she made her way to the passenger side and to the parking lot.

Gomez was arrested, medically cleared, and transported to the Pasco County Jail.


A 28-year-old Zephyrhills woman was arrested Dec. 26 for domestic battery after punching the victim in the head three times.

According to Zephyrhills Police, Emily Nieves of 39231 3rd Ave. allegedly admitted to hitting the victim during an argument in a car. A witness to the incident confirmed the story as well.

Nieves was arrested and transported to the Pasco County Jail.
