Dec. 31 – MEGA Pantry Pasco County Grocery Pickup | New Location – If you are in need offood, stop by Pasco-Hernando State College, 36727 Blanton Road in DadeCity from 3:30-5:30 p.m. to receive some free groceries. No ID, paperwork or screening is required and all are welcome. The pantry operates rain or shine every Thursday as long asit is safe to distribute. There will besigns directing you once you enter the park and volunteers will load the food directly into your vehicle, practicing social distancing guidelines. Jan. 9 – Raising Cane, A Sweet & Spicy Event – Learn about sugarcane syrup making and enjoy some tasty chili from the Chili Cook-Off while strolling by unique vendors and enjoying live music, food, beerand wine from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, 15602 Pioneer Museum Road in Dade City. Applications are being accepted for vendors and chili competitors. Admission is $5 and children under 5 are admitted free. Visit pioneerfloridamuseum.org for information or vendor registration.

Jan. 28 – Spotlight on Talent Entry Deadline – Entry applications are being accepted for the 38th Annual Heritage Arts Center Association Spotlight on Talent for children and youth through high school seniors until 5 p.m. for this performing arts competition through Jan. 28. Over $4,000 in cash prizes and trophies will be given away, including a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a graduating Pasco County senior. The preliminary contest will be held Feb. 13, 2021 and the final show will be held on March 6. Visit heritagearts.org for applications or information.

Jan. 31 – Nova Era: Live –Talent, magnificent costuming and classical music with a modern groove are the trademarks of Nova Era. The band performs regularly at Downtown Disney as well as at international venues in Paris, Venice, Dubai, stateside and more. They will be performing at Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, 15602 Pioneer Museum Road in Dade City from 3-6 p.m. Gates open at 2 p.m. Heavy hors d’oeuvres are included and a cash bar will be available. This will be an outdoor event. Lawn chairs are welcome but no pets or coolers are allowed. Social distancing guidelines will be in place. Please wear a mask inside buildings. Feb. 6 – Farm Fest & Quilt Show–Come out to the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village at 15602 PioneerMuseum Road in Dade City from 10a.m.-5 p.m. for a fun-filled day of draft horse pulls, a quilt show, syrup making, entertainment, vendors, food and more. Feb. 19-20 – 2021 Carlisle Collector Car Auction – The 2021 WinterAutoFest in Lakeland may be canceled, but the 2021 Lakeland Collector CarAuction by Carlisle Auctions will still take place starting at 10:30 a.m. daily at the Sun ‘n Fun Expo, 4175 Medulla Road in Lakeland.
