A 35-year-old Dade City man was arrested Dec. 29 for carrying a concealed weapon after police allegedly discovered him carrying a pair of brass knuckles.

According to Zephyrhills Police, Matthew Green of 37920 Jordan Rd., was arrested for violation of probation warrant for grand theft. A search uncovered a pair of brass knuckles in Green’s right, front pocket.

ZPD said Green could not give a reasonable explanation for being possession of the brass knuckles. A computer check revealed Green did not possess a concealed weapons permit. He was transported to Pasco County Jail.

A 43-year-old Zephyrhills woman was arrested this week for an outstanding warrant out of Pasco County.

According to ZPD, Jennifer DeGarmo Villegas of 4722 Charter St., was arrested at her home for an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

She was placed under arrest and transported to the Pasco County Jail.

A 53-year-old transient was arrested Dec. 29 for an outstanding failure to appear warrant.

Police reported that they made contact that Paul Osterman at 16th Street and 12th Avenue. A computer check confirmed that Osterman had a failure to appear warrant for driving while license suspended or revoked.

He was placed under arrest and transported to Pasco County Jail.

An 18-year-old Dade City woman was arrested Dec. 29 for trespass after warning.

According to ZPD, Shai Young, of 14728 Sherrod Croft Ln., received a trespass warning from a residence on 3rd Street on Christmas Eve.

Police said Young returned to the residence Dec. 29. She was placed under arrest and given a notice to appear.
