Thousands of people lined Zephyr Lake and sat or stood at Zephyr Park to enjoy the the fireworks show to wrap up the 8th Annual SummerFest.
Florida Penguin Productions in partnership with the Ciity of Zephyrhills and several sponsors put on the event that featured a wide variety of food, crafts and local business. In addition, there was live music and a Kids Zone with bounce houses and slides.
The fireworks show was the culmination of the day-long event that helps kickoff the the Fourth of July weekend.
“This was amazing. I can’t believe how many people were here tonight,” said Zephyrhills Mayor Melonie Bahr Monson, who had a lakeside seats with her family. “The fireworks were phenomenal. They do such a great job.
“I think it’s a great thing to do and it’s something we should continue to do. People look forward to this each year.”
