A 33-year-old Zephyrhills man was killed in a two car crash on Chancey Road, south of State Road 54 Saturday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP reported the vehicle driven by victim was traveling north on Chancey Road, south of County Road 54 when it was struck by another vehicle, operated by a 34-year-old Zephyrhills woman trying to pass.
The man was transported to a local hospital where he died from the injuries sustained in the crash.
FHP reported another fatality happened Friday night around 10 p.m. near the intersection of SR 54 and Ryals Road in Zephyrhills when a Jeep Wrangler, operated by a 62-year-old Zephyrhills woman, was traveling eastbound on SR 54, west of Ryals Road, where a pedestrian was walking westbound in the eastbound lane. The Jeep struck the 24-year-old man from Land O’ Lakes who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
