Zephyrhills Junior boys finish as District 13 runner up after falling 14-4 to Land O’ Lakes in title game.
It appeared as a repeat of Saturday’s opening game of the Junior Division championship series between Zephyrhills and Land O’ Lakes. Land O’ Lakes won Saturday in dominant fashion, 17-7.
Zephyrhills rallied in game 2 to even the series with a 10-5 win, but Land O’ Lakes took the final game and the district flag with another dominant win over Zephyrhills, 14-4 wrapping up the District 13 Tournament for all Zephyrhills Teams.
The Senior and Junior Girls Softball teams advanced to the July 7 State Tournament. The Senior Girls will host the tournament at Sam Pasco Park.
