The Lady Bulldogs and the Lady Falcons faced each other once this season with Zephyrhills pulling out at 56-52 win.
“I don’t think either team is playing great right now,” said ZHS Coach Chris Smith. “Hopefully we will turn it around Friday.”
Smith was proud of the defense that shut down Springstead’s high-scoring offense that averaged 56 points per game.
“They have scored a lot of points this year and we weren’t sure what they were going to do tonight,” Smith said. “If we play defense like we can, we’re tough to beat. If we play as a team and not get in foul trouble, we’re real tough.”
