

The ladies of Zephyrhills High School winter sports made a name for themselves this week landing on the Sunshine Athletic Conference All Conference teams.
Leading the charge is Zephyrhills’ basketball senior power forward Jade King, who earned First Team honors for her play in the Lady Bulldogs’ 14-7 season. King averaged 14.1 points per game, 6.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and nearly three blocks per game.
In her career at ZHS, the 5’-11” shooter played all five positions on the court and never missed a game.
Senior point guard Allison McCullough earned Second Team honors while averaging 6.8 ppg, 6.3 rebounds, 7 assists and 5.4 steals. She had the lowest turnover percentage for all point guards in the district, while being the most productive. She is a resilient athlete who has bounced back from two major knee surgeries.
On the soccer field, defender Ava Stephen was a standout performer for 5-17 Lady Bulldogs. The senior captain earned All SAC Second Team honors.
