Zephyrhills Arrests phone points to pedophile

A 21 year old Tampa man was arrested on multiple by a child after counts of sexual performance allegedly having child pornogra- phy on his personal cell phone. According to the ZPD complaint affida-vit, Nicholas Levan Bohner of 7220 E. 29th Ave. in Tampa was arrested Sept. 3 after having over 10 photos, images, motion pictures and depictions that included sexual conduct by children under the age of 18. The re-port states that a witness viewed the content on his unattended phone. The witness confronted him and he fled the home leaving his phone behind. Police obtained a search warrant for the phone. Forensic analysis revealed hundreds of photos and videos that included sexual conduct to children obviously under the age of 18 Many of the images appeared to show children under the age of 5 years old.

A 20 year old Zephyrhills woman was arrested Sept. 2 for rob-bery after allegedly taking items out of the female victim’s purse and then pushing her out of a moving car. According to the ZPD report, Tamara Fowler of 37535 8th St., was the driver of a car when she took five items valued at $605 from the victim’s purse, who was a passenger in the victim’s purse, who was a passenger in the car and pushed her out of the moving car. A witness observed the incident and rendered aid. The report adds that the victim identified Fowler, who later admitted to police getting into the altercation with the victim, taking the items and disposing of them. She was placed under arrest, processed at ZPD and then turned over the pasco country jail staff.


A 36 year old Zephyrhills man was arrested Sept. 4 on drug charges after police stopped him while he was riding his bicycle
in the dark with no front or rear lights. According to ZPD, Kenneth Wayne Carter, Jr. of 1634 Harriett St. had an active warrant out of Pasco County. When he was placed under arrest, he told officers he has needles and a methamphetamine bubble in his backpack. A search of the backpack revealed a baggy with a crystalline substance located inside a head-
phone case and glass pipe with white residue in a small pocket. A field test for the baggy and pipe tested positive for methamphetamine. The weight of the baggy was 2.24 grams. He was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

An 18-year-old Tampa man was arrested sept.1 for grand theft of a motor vehicle and is facing weapon charges after he was involved in an accident and was reportedly seen throwing a .38 caliber magazine from the vehicle. According to the ZPD arrest reports, Jacob Ajay Riley of 15501 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Apt. 505 allegedly crashed a 2018 Honda Civic that did not belong to him into a fence at timber Way and C Avenue. Following the crash police report seeing Riley toss the magazine out of the rear passenger window. Police also found a Taurus .38 caliber semi-automatic handgun near the fence where the accident took place. Riley is 18 and does not possess a Florida Concealed Carry Permit. Riley denied any possession of
the firearm. He was placed under arrest, transported and processed at ZPD and later transported to the Pasco County Jail.


A 25 year old Myakka man was arrested Sept. 5 for DUI causing
property damage after he was allegedly involved in a crash at the intersection of Gall Boulevard and Pretty Pond Road. According to Zephyrhills Police, Charley James Johnson of 7561 Wind Gate Rd., was reportedly driving south-bound in the northbound lane on US 301, swerved hitting another vehicle causing damage. The reports states police noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from Johnson. After he was read his rights, he admitted to drinking “too much” and told officers that he will fail a field sobriety test. He did perform poorly on the test. Police said there was an open box of beer in the vehicle. His blood alcohol content was .163 and .164. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Pasco County Jail.

A 63 yars old Zephyrhills man was arrested Sept. 6 for DUI
with property damage after he was allegedly involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of Gall Boulevard and Pretty Pond Road. According to the complaint affidavit, Kenneth John Rafuse of 6828 20th St. was involved in the crash and during the investigation, police observed a strong odor of alcohol coming from Rafuse. It was reported that he was slurring his speech, had watery, bloodshot eyes and constricted pupils. Rafuse told police he had just two drinks. He did not complete field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol content was .9. and .274, more than three times the legal limit. Rafuse was medically cleared from the hospital and was trans-
ported to the Pasco County Jail.
