COVID-19 Update
If you were wondering what all the commotion was surrounding the former SunTrust Bank Building on Gall Boulevard, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis provided his daily COVID-19 Update Press Conference in Zephyrhills.
AdventHealth is operating a COVID-19 vaccination center at the former bank complex. DeSantis touted the state’s continuous efforts to vaccinate seniors and praised Pasco County’s work in hosting vaccination centers.
DeSantis said 42% of Pasco residents 65 and older had already been vaccinated. He announced two Walgreens stores in Pasco County will be the first in the state to start offering vaccines.
The Walgreens are located at 12028 Majestic Boulevard in Hudson, and 6429 Gall Boulevard in Zephyrhills. Appointments can be made online starting Thursday. Shots will go into arms beginning Friday.
