Following the best season in over a decade, the Lady Bulldogs dream season came to an end after falling to top seeded Lake Wales in the Class 5A-District 6 semifinals Wednesday night in Auburndale.
Lake Wales won 25-16, 25-22 and 25-15. This is the furthest the Lady Bulldogs have advanced in district tournament play in more than 10 years.
This closes the book on the stellar high school careers for seniors Jade Pickett, Mikalah Geiger, Tori Perez and Byranna O’Malley.
