Sweet Home (Northeast) Alabama
Zephyrhills senior golfer Gracie Sullivan will take her leadership and passion to play the game she loves to Northeast Alabama Community College.
The Sunshine Athletic Conference Player of the Year signed a letter of intent to continue her education and athletic career at NACC under scholarship. Sullivan helped lead Zephyrhills to a pair of district runner-up finishes.
Coach Sydney Robbins commended Sullivan for her leadership and passion that she brought displays on and off the golf course.
“She is a natural born leader,” Robbins said. “When I came in to coach this team she came up to me and offered all kinds of support.
“Golf is a game if you don’t have a passion for it, it is hard to keep playing. Gracie has always had that passion. She just didn’t wake up and come here. She work incredibly hard during practice and after practice.”
NACC is governed by the National Junior College Athletic Association and Mustangs play in the Alabama Community College Conference.
