ZPD takes 353.5 grams of Methamphetamine off the streets
Zephyrhills Police made a massive drug bust Saturday taking 353.5 grams of methamphetamine off the streets.
According to ZPD reports, Robert Dudley, 38, of Gibsonton, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for a seat belt violation yielded a gallon plastic bag filled with the methamphetamine. Also in the door compartment was a digital scale.
Dudley was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Amanda Rials, 42, of Riverview. A search of the vehicle also turned up a plastic baggie in the owner’s manual containing a trace amount of methamphetamine and an alert by ZPD K-9 to a lockbox uncovered another .42 grams of methamphetamine.
Both were placed under arrest and transported to Pasco County Jail.
A 37-year-old Wesley Chapel woman was arrested March 22 on drug charges after a traffic stop for a non-operational tag light.
According to Zephyrhills Police, Mandi Ann Bridges of 32549 Whaley’s Loop was stopped for the violation. A ZPD K-9 responded and conducted an exterior sniff yielding an alert. A sear uncovered a baggie in Bridges’ purse containing .34 grams of methamphetamine. A further search uncovered a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue.
She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Pasco County Jail.
A 45-year old Zephyrhills woman, who allegedly switched price tags at the Zephyrhills Wal-Mart, can add possession of a controlled substance to her petit theft charge.
ZPD reported Dawn-Marie Dutton of 8219 Cindy Drive was caught by store loss prevention after swapping tags on 18 items for a $174.88 savings. She admitted to swapping the tags. A search of her purse yielded a small plastic baggie with a crystalline substance inside. It was later tested to be Fentanyl.
She told police she found it in her vehicle after he daughter borrowed it. She added that she placed the substance in her purse to confront her daughter later. She was transported to Pasco County Jail.
A 31-year-old Dade City woman was arrested by Zephyrhills Police March 28 for possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop for a window tint violation.
According to police, Jessica Henderson of 8921 Old Lakeland Highway was a passenger in the vehicle. Police detected a strong odor or marijuana coming from the vehicle. Henderson told police she had recently finished smoking marijuana and that was the cause for the odor.
Henderson told police she was in possession of methamphetamine. The search revealed .93 grams of methamphetamine. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Pasco County Jail.
