It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Harry J. Howell, who left us on January 23, 2025, at the age of 94. Harry dedicated his life to following the Christian tenets of faith; was always charitable and gracious.
He served in the Army as a Sargent during the Korean Conflict and was seen as a man of faith, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his children: David M. Howell of Florida; his twin daughters, Sherry Young and Terry Lyn Braun of Georgia; and his youngest daughter, Dawn M. Howell of Alabama. Harry was cherished by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Jane Turner Howell; his daughter, Deborah K. Huckabey; and his son, Mark R. Howell.
Harry’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Funeral Services are to be held at 11:30 AM E.S.T on February 28th at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida. Flowers and Cards should be sent to Whitfield Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, FL.
