Donald Augusta Sharpe, 79, of Zephyrhills, FL, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Donald was born on December 5, 1944 in High Point, NC. He loved the Seminoles, Yankees and NASCAR. Donald coached little league and even joined a league as an adult. He loved occasions where family gathered, including birthdays, holidays and any time he was with the people he loved.
Donald had a way of making you feel special. He was very involved with his church and loved his church family and Pastor Wes.
Donald is preceded in death by his brothers, Bob, Billy and Johnny Sharpe.
Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 50 years, Mary Kay Sharpe; daughter, Erika Snider (Jim); sons, Matthew Sharpe (Kelly) and Kagan Sharpe (Rebecka); grandchildren, Brooke, Austin, Gracie, Justin, Cody, Clay, James, Jon, Jaylyn, Madison and Samuel; great-grandchildren, James, Jaxon, Aiden, Mason Rylan, Rylee, River and Gracie; brother-in-law, Stanley Hearn; and sisters-in-law, Sharon Weldon, Judy Tippitt and Joyce Hearn.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Thonotosassa Church of God, 11702 Taylor Rd, Thonotosassa, FL 33592, with Pastor Wes Sulfridge officiating.
