Chick-fil-A set to open Thursday, July 29
Chick-fil-A restaurant and new franchise Owner/Operator Scott Amole will welcome customers to the Zephyrhills location Thursday, July 29 at 6 a.m.
Anticipation has been high for more than a year as rumors first circulated that the popular fast food restaurant was coming to corner of Pretty Pond Road and US 301.
Chick-fil-A Zephyrhills will open for full dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app or through online ordering.
In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Zephyrhills will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Zephyrhillswith free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Tampa area to aid in the fight against hunger.
As the restaurant opens, the surrounding area is quite different.
In order to accommodate the restaurant and to provide traffic safety, the City of Zephyrhills sanctioned a traffic-signal relocation project. Signals have been place at the intersection of Pretty Pond and US 301 plus Medical Arts Court and US 301. The price tag exceeded more than $1 million.
Chick-fil-A reports it will employ approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members., Chick-fil-A Zephyrhills is located at 7490 Gall Blvd. and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
