Bay Area Renaissance FestivalThree weeks remain for the Bay Area Renaissance Festival at Withlacoochee River Park in Dade City. Although the venue has changed from MOSI to Dade City, interest in the popular festival has not waned and the enthusiasm of the performers is at an all-time high.
There’s still time to witness a mounted joust, silk aerial performers, a wheel walker and several other great shows. There’s plenty for the kids including elephant rides, games, a maze, a petting zoo, photos with mermaid, a unicorn and so much more.
You won’t leave hungry either as there are plenty of food vendors and you have to eat like knight by grabbing a giant turkey leg. There’s also places to grab an adult beverage, soda or water. Shopping for souvenirs and for items that reflect your heritage line the grounds.
Most of all, have a great time and you don’t have to battle Tampa traffic as we have the Bay Area Renaissance Festival in your own backyard.
