The Zephyrhills Bulldogs continued their reign atop Class 4A District 8 Friday night, dominating Fivay 46–7 to capture their fifth consecutive district championship.

From the opening drive, Zephyrhills (9–0) left little doubt about its intentions, scoring on its first two possessions and controlling the game on both sides of the ball. Running back Roe Miller found the end zone early on a seven-yard touchdown run, then capped a stellar first half with a 14-yard scoring burst that pushed him over the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season.

Quarterback Patrick Harding added touchdown passes to Kingston McCullough (20 yards) and Deori Pope (46 yards), helping the Bulldogs build a commanding 26–0 halftime lead.

The defense was equally dominant, stifling the Falcons’ offense and setting up short fields for the Zephyrhills attack. By the end of the third quarter, a touchdown grab by Jarvis Warren extended the lead to 33–7, putting the Bulldogs just 12 minutes away from another title.

Backup quarterback Bear Keating sealed the win in the fourth quarter with a 46-yard touchdown strike to Pope, triggering a running clock and setting off celebrations on the Zephyrhills sideline.

Head coach Nick Carroll praised his team’s effort and consistency after the victory.

“I’m really happy for those coaches and for the guys on our team,” Carroll said. “We put a lot of time in with our guys and they work really hard for us. This district title is well deserved. It’s pretty cool.”

The win not only extends Zephyrhills’ perfect season but also solidifies its playoff position heading into next week’s matchup against Port Charlotte.

With another district championship in hand, the Bulldogs remain one of the top contenders in Class 4A — and they’re not done yet.
