Football is back in Zephyrhills, but it’s not the Bulldogs.
The Central Florida Golden Eagles, a semi-pro football team, are preparing to take the field Sunday at Bulldog Stadium for their first home game and they’re calling on the entire community to be part of the moment.
Kickoff is set for Sunday, February 15 at 5 p.m. at Zephyrhills High School.
The Golden Eagles will face the Dunedin Highlanders in a high-energy matchup featuring adult developmental football played “the way it’s meant to be played — fast, physical and full of heart.”
This game marks more than just another date on the schedule. Team officials have announced that Zephyrhills High School will serve as the official home field for the Golden Eagles during the 2026 season.
The partnership signals a new chapter for the organization as it continues to grow both on and off the field. Bringing its brand of competitive football to Zephyrhills, the Golden Eagles aim to create a strong community presence while delivering an unforgettable game-day atmosphere.
Players and staff are encouraging families, fans and local supporters to pack the stands and help establish a true home-field advantage in their debut.
