A juvenile has been taken into custody following a violent stabbing Saturday morning that sent an adult man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).
The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the area of Pure Water Way. Deputies responded to reports of the stabbing and found the victim suffering from serious wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators believe the victim and the juvenile suspect knew each other. The juvenile fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival but was later located and arrested.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has charged the juvenile with attempted homicide while engaged in burglary, vehicle theft, and burglary with aggravated battery. Due to the suspect’s age, authorities have not released the juvenile’s name or further identifying details. The victim’s identity also remains undisclosed as the investigation continues.
