The City of Zephyrhills – Government is enhancing its streets! Over a dozen roadway segments are scheduled for resurfacing during fiscal year 2024-2025, working with contractor Asphalt Paving Systems.
The annual street resurfacing project includes traditional paving methods (mill/overlay and bump mill/overlay) and pavement preservation techniques (crack seal/double micro and cape seal/micro) to improve safety and extend the life of our roads.
Improvements will be made to the following segments throughout the year:
• 4th Avenue: from 20th St. to 16th St.
• South Avenue: from U.S. 301 to CSX railroad crossing (east)
• Copeland Drive: from Chancey Rd. to Tucker Rd.
• Krusen Field Rd./Parking Lot: from Alston Ave. to north dead-end
• C Avenue: from U.S. 301 to 20th St.
• Timber Way: from C Ave. to dead-end cul-de-sac
• 12th Street: at 5th Ave.
• 6th Avenue: at 7th St.
• Lawanda Loop: from Autumn Palm to two partial cul-de-sacs
• Leonidas Drive: from Lawanda Loop to Autumn Palm
• 18th Street: from South Ave. to C Ave.
• 19th Street: from South Ave. to C Ave.
• 14th Avenue: from 12th St. to 8th St.
• 6th Avenue: from U.S. 301/4th St. to 4th St./1st St.
