The East Pasco YMCA announced the upcoming Founder’s Day 5K, set for Saturday, March 14, at 8 a.m.
Hosted at City of Zephyrhills’ Hercules Park (38110 County Road 54, Zephyrhills), this annual event brings together families, athletes, local businesses, and community supporters to celebrate wellness, connection, and the YMCA’s enduring impact across East Pasco County.
Open to walkers and runners, the event also features a Kids Run (ages 12 & under) and a Virtual 5K option, making it accessible for participants of all ages and abilities.
“The Founder’s Day 5K is more than a race – it’s a celebration of everything the YMCA stands for: community, service, and healthy living,” said Erica Shireman, East Pasco YMCA Board Chair. “Every registration helps fund youth programs, swim safety education, family outreach, and senior wellness initiatives that directly support our East Pasco neighbors.”
