Kelsey’s House is closing out the holiday season by concluding its annual toy drive and preparing to distribute toys to local families just in time for Christmas.
The nonprofit announced that toy distribution will take place Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 4 p.m. at Bennett Septic’s offices at 4302 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills and will be available exclusively to families who pre-registered for the event. The toy drive, held throughout the holiday season, aimed to ensure children in need are able to experience the joy of Christmas morning.
Organizers said the community response was strong, with generous donations from individuals and organizations helping make the effort a success. Volunteers will be on site Tuesday to assist with sorting and distributing toys in an organized and efficient manner.
“This time of year can be very difficult for parents who are struggling to make ends meet,” organizer Cameron Brady said. “During these difficult financial times, for some families Christmas gifts seem almost impossible. We would like to take some stress off families by providing Christmas gifts for kids in need.”
Each registered child will receive two gifts through the program.
Kelsey’s House emphasized that toy distribution is limited to pre-registered families to ensure fairness and smooth operations. Families interested in getting on the receiving list are encouraged to contact Karen at 813-696-7289 for more information.
The charity expressed gratitude to community members, donors, and volunteers for their continued support, noting that the toy drive is just one of several initiatives designed to support local families during the holiday season.
