Richard Butler passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born May 17, 1954, to Richard and Joyce Butler at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was the first Eagle Scout in Troop189. He loved bicycling; with many miles travelled in his lifetime.
He was the proud owner of Allen Hill Bike Shop in Zephyrhills, Florida before returning to his home in Clarkston where he excelled in milling lumber for creative artwork.
He was preceded in death by parents Richard and Joyce Butler. He is survived by sisters Connie (John) Morgan and Susan (Tim) Robbins.
Cremation has taken place with a private family celebration of life.
