Jarrett Ford hosted its Drive For Your Community event Friday, giving residents a chance to support local causes simply by taking a test drive.
Community members who registered at the dealership designated their support for either Zephyrhills High School athletic teams and programs or Habitat for Humanity. For every test drive completed, Jarrett Ford pledged a donation to the chosen cause.
At the same time, a parallel event was held to benefit Pasco High School, allowing supporters from both sides of the long-standing rivalry to take part.
The fundraising effort will culminate in a special moment Friday night when Jarrett Ford presents checks to the participating organizations during halftime of the Zephyrhills–Pasco football game. The rivalry clash also serves as Zephyrhills’ Homecoming game, adding to the anticipation and community excitement.
The event boosted support for local programs but also highlighted the unique way businesses, schools, and nonprofits can work together to strengthen the community.
