The City of Zephyrhills Utilities Department has contracted with R&M Service Solutions to conduct an annual fire hydrant flow testing beginning Monday, September 8, 2025.
This year’s testing is expected to run through late November 2025, covering more than 900 hydrants throughout the city. Unlike last year’s single-hydrant test, this year’s process will involve a 2-hydrant testing method, which may take additional time to complete.
During this testing period, customers may notice brief periods of lower water pressure or slight water discoloration. This is a normal part of the process and should clear on its own.
