ZHS JROTC cadets recently reported to city council to share how their program is shaping tomorrow’s leaders through discipline, respect, camaraderie, and service.
With 140 cadets strong, this Army-based program works year-round to make a difference both here at home and across the globe.
From honoring veterans through annual grave cleanings at Oakside Cemetery, to beautifying parks during community clean-up events, to hosting dinners for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, these students are dedicated to giving back.
And this year, these cadets are taking their service one step further – collecting gently used books from the community to send to underserved nations in Africa, showcasing Z-Hills’ generosity on a global stage.
