
There may not have been many, but the three departing seniors of the Zephyrhills High School Girls’ Soccer team left a lasting impact. The seniors went out in style with a 6-0 win over Central.
Team leaders, Jenna Goodman, Ava Stephens and Annaliese Maldonado played their final home game at Bulldog Stadium Thursday night, but not before being honored with their families by their teammates.
The pregame ceremony saw the underclassmen spell out each seniors’ name as the player walked from midfield with their family members. Each player was presented with a banner, flowers and balloons as coach Gina Granger read the player’s farewell.
